Hey there, I’m Remo, founder of TraveLab, a place where travel dreams get a personal touch. With over 20 years in the travel industry, you could say globetrotting is stitched into the very fabric of my life. From flight attendant to itinerary designer, my journey has taken me across 11 countries and 4 continents, and I've soaked up every bit of culture, color, and connection along the way.
Fluent in five languages and always eager to learn more, I don’t just explore—I live travel.
Cairo: My Base, My Muse
I’ve been lucky enough to call Cairo home for more than seven years now, and let me tell you—it never gets old. The energy here is magnetic. From sipping mint tea in a tucked-away cafe in Garden City to losing myself in the winding streets of Islamic Cairo, this city has shaped my soul.
Living in Cairo has given me deep, on-the-ground insight into the region—insight I bring into every TraveLab experience. Whether you're here for a layover or a full-on adventure, I know exactly how to help you make the most of it.
Greece: My Other Love
When I'm not in Cairo, you'll find me soaking in the sunset on a Greek island or wandering through olive groves near my home in Greece. It’s my second home, my personal getaway, and a core inspiration behind many of our Mediterranean itineraries.
Why do I split my time between these two stunning countries? Because they both offer rich contrasts—Cairo with its chaos and history, Greece with its serenity and timeless charm. And I think travel should let you experience both sides of the coin.
The TraveLab Difference: Everything Is Personally Vetted

Here’s the deal—I don’t just create itineraries from behind a desk. I personally vet every experience, every partner, every hotel, every guide. If it's not good enough for me, it’s not going into your trip. Period.
That means no cookie-cutter packages, no tourist traps, and definitely no secondhand suggestions. I’ve eaten at the restaurants, slept in the beds, walked the routes, and chatted with the locals. What you see on your itinerary? I’ve lived it.
Designed With Airline Crews (and Real Life) in Mind
As a former flight attendant, I get the chaos of flying stand-by, unpredictable schedules, and last-minute adventures. That’s why TraveLab specializes in ultra-flexible, immersive travel experiences, especially tailored for airline crews and frequent flyers.
Think:
Last-minute trips with no stress
Local gems that aren’t in guidebooks
Hands-on cultural immersion that feels spontaneous, not scheduled
Whether you've got 24 hours or 10 days, we’ll craft something unforgettable—without the rigidity of traditional tour companies.
My Travel Philosophy: Go Deeper, Not Just Farther
At TraveLab, we're not in the business of ticking boxes. We’re about connections, stories, and those “you-had-to-be-there” moments.
I believe that travel should:
Help you see the world differently
Be mindful and culturally respectful
Be tailored to you—your pace, your interests, your vibe
So no two trips are ever the same. Yours will be one-of-a-kind because you are.
Where I'm Off to Next...
When I’m not flying, planning trips, or sipping strong coffee at my favorite Cairo café, I’m scouting new destinations. Whether it's the charming villages of the Peloponnese, a hidden eco-lodge in the Sinai desert, or a pop-up dinner in an abandoned Greek monastery—I’m always looking for magic.
The world’s full of surprises. My job? Bring them to you.
